The cadets have been asked to attend this ceremony at the CBS War Memorial in support of the community as well as raise flags for the ceremony.
We know that our Silver Stars are away on their expedition, but the rest of the corps is requested to attend.
Dress of the Day: Your dress uniform
Time: 12:30 arrival for 1:00 pm start of the ceremony. It should be finished by 2:00 pm
Pick up and drop off will be at the War Memorial outside of the Town Hall and Swimming Pool.
Community service is very important to this corps and we have been a supporter and participant in this ceremony for the last number of years. It also counts toward your career hours at school.
We will post any cancellation or moving of the ceremony on the website if it happens.

Silver Star Expedition - May 2-4
The Joining Instructions and Operation Order has been emailed to cadets and guardians. Please direct any questions to the corps email or Capt. Wold and we will reach out to the Expedition Centre. Also, please let us know you have received the information by replying to the email.
Battle of the Atlantic - May 4, 2025
This will take place at the Monument in front of the Town Hall.
It will be from 1-2:30 pm (at the latest)
We have been asked to raise and lower flags (we will take names for those offering to do so on Wednesday, April 30). This counts as Community Service toward your career hours.
Dress will be your Dress Uniform
The whole corps will attend with the exception of the Silver Star Cadets, who will be on their expedition
Army Field Training Skills Weekend - June 6-8, 2025
This weekend will be a multi-unit weekend outing for army cadets.
It will take place in Emeraldvale and the cadets will be bussed to and from there.
All cadets have been registered.
We realize this is close to the ACR; however, we were assigned our time based on numbers for the corps. Our cadet unit is not running this activity. The Area Office is. We are providing a staff member to attend with our cadets.
We do not have any further information but will provide it as soon as we receive it.
Its a fun weekend to hang out with other army cadets and do army cadet skills and training.
Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) - Saturday, June 14, 2025
We are waiting on formal acceptance by our Reviewing Officer to post and email the invitation
The ACR will be from 2-4 pm, followed by a banquet 5-7pm.
These will both take place at the Legion.
We will ask for numbers soon for the ACR and banquet attendance.
Tickets for the banquet dinner will likley by: $30 for stuffed chicken breast dinner, and $25 for chicken fingers and fries (an option for children and cadets who do not want chicken dinner)
The corps will cover the cost of the cadets' meals.
The Change of Command will take place during the banquet.
We will continue to clue up our corps training and conduct band practices. All other activities (possible park clean up) will be shared as soon as we have approval and information.
