Hello everyone, we just received a message that the CBS Firehall has had to cancel or postpone our tours planned for tonight. Please see the following as our new plan:
Time: 6:45 - 9:15 pm (Doors open at 6:45pm)
Dress of the Day: Field Training Uniforms (FTUs)
We will do a full parade practice with the band and flag party.
Then any remaining silver stars will teach their lessons.
Everyone will bring their boot shining kits and we will have a boot shining session with senior cadets helping you and answering any questions you have about getting the best shine. Prize for most improved boots at the end of the night.
Thank you!

This weekend our marksmanship team competed at the provincial level. We needed to place in the top 9 teams at the zones level in the province to be invited to the provincial and we had placed 2nd in our zone, but 3rd overall In the province. We placed 4th at the provincial this weekend. Their hard work paid off. The competition was very tight. We were only 62 points away to tie with first place. There was 50 cadets competing this weekend. Drake placed 9th overall, 12th in prone, Downey was 15th overall but 14th in prone, Sceviour was 18th overall, Moland was 7th in junior overall, 6th in junior standing and 7th in junior overall. We can't forget to mention Smith, he has come a very long way since the start of this year and will keep growing as a marksman over the future years, he scored himself a beautiful10.5 out of a posible 10.9 in prone during the competition and a 10.5 in standing during zeroing. Theses are awesome results. We are so proud of them and they should be very proud of themselves. I want to thank Lt(N) Kane for being the Chief of Range for the weekend, our amazing cadet coach Greeley B. for all his experience sharing and helping adjusting sites, positions and giving sound shooting advice. Little was a big helping hand at the competition as he volunteered as a cadet official. Madame Greeley was incredibly generous and donated the team beautiful team water bottles. It takes a village they say to make amazing things happen and we are blessed to have the best village. Great job team, you represented 2562 with pride.
