Welcome Back - Wednesday, Jan 8 2025

We hope everyone had a nice break and are ready to get back to it!

For this week, we will have parents and cadets interested in attending camp this summer meet with staff so we can go over the process of applying, dates, backfill, and travel. Hopefully we can answer any questions that you may have.

Applications for staff cadets is this month and the deadline for course cadets is February.

We will not be in uniform this week, but will talk about summer camp and then finish anything left from our fitness testing that we did a short time ago. We have new dodgeballs too that can be broken out if there is time left at the end of the night.

Our new recruits will start to get issued their dress uniforms this Wednesday, so that is great news for us.

Time: 7:00 - 7:30 pm for cadets and parents meeting

Pickup for cadets: 9:15 pm

• Lazertag is approved for January 15, so we will post more about that after Wednesday.

Holiday Break

We think we have had a busy beginning to our training year, which is a great way to finish 2024. We will power down now for a few weeks, returning on January 8, 2025 and ready to go.

Some good news: Our new cadets who joined this year will receive their dress uniforms in January. We are able to start ordering and issuing them. Yay!

Christmas Party

Santa Coates (Corporal Coates) visited and provided our cadets with their corps clothing. We hope everyone had a great time and glad we had some visitors from 284 RCSCC Marconi. Thank you all for the snacks you brought and shared.
