Hi everyone! We are getting close to our holiday break but we have got 3 big things left:

  1. Christmas Parade - December 7

  2. Mess Dinner with 284 Marconi Sea Cadet Corps - December 11

  3. 2562 RCACC Christmas Dance and Party - December 18

So first things first!

Wednesday, December 4

  • Regular Parade Night

  • We are in civvies (civilian clothing) - For those who have a tunic, bring it back this week with the changes required. Lt(N) Kane inspected them last week and gave each of you instructions on where your badges should be located (or re-located). If you didn't bring it last week, you need to bring it this week so we can ensure you have all your badges in the right place. You will be wearing your uniforms on Saturday for the parade and for the Mess Dinner next week.

  • All cadets should have parkas, gloves and a toque. If you need any of these, see Lt(N) Kane, our supply officer to get what you need for the parade. Also, if you need a badge or crest for your parka, please get this Wednesday night.

We will be practicing our marching to Christmas music, learning the rules of a Mess Dinner, and writing Christmas cards for the Canadian Armed Forces Members, serving over seas.

I would invite parents/guardians to come in at 9:00 for a quick meeting to discuss a plan for the Christmas parade, ie. cadets who fall out, extraction, etc.

The Band has been working very hard and they are playing some great music. Keep practicing!

See you Wednesday Night!

Tomorrow is our last practice before Christmas @ 1:00-4:00

Dress appropriately for outside.

We still have work to do for the parade so It is really important that everyone in the band attends.

Remember to practice at home. Glockers should be practicing while marching and standing in place.

Final band positions for the parade will be finalized tomorrow.
